Selective Generation of Gut Tropic T Cells in Gut-associated Lymphoid Tissue (GALT)
To gain entry into peripheral tissues, effector T lymphocytes express specific combinations of adhesion molecules and chemokine receptors. Expression of these are induced during activation in regional secondary lymphoid organs.
